Today, we really had a full schedule. We started with Science (I think). We've moved on to forces. We learned about what a force is, and then we studied gravity a little bit. One thing I love about homeschooling is all the schooling I get. =) I know so much more since I've been homeschooling. It's stuff I learned, too, but I guess I'm just storing it in my noodle a little better. We wrote in our science journals and I had the girls draw a picture of each other using force. That was fun for them. They were excited when it came time to show each other their picture.
She had a good time since I always take scissors away from her. I knew that would give me some peace for a little bit.
We didn't do any kind of art today, but we did take a few moments to "dead ourselves", which I will classify as art. =) We love The Walking Dead around here--even Libby. She'll stand up on one end of the couch and act like she's a zombie out to get her daddy. Daddy pulls out his pretend gun, makes a shooting sound, and Libby falls back like she's been hit. She could do this 73 times in a row if he'd go along with it. She's a hoot. But, when I act like a zombie, she goes into panic mode! It's crazy! Anyone can be a zombie except for mommy.
Here's some of their finished products (Madeline, Teagan, Neely, and Libby):
