We're still waiting on Teagan's new science books to come in the mail. If you recall, we changed for a more hands-on science. I ordered the teacher and student edition from a lady on eBay on September 3. Funny that she lives 30 minutes from me, and she STILL has not shipped. What is up with that?! I hope she sends because I got it at the great price of $12.50. For the time being, we are observing things around us and researching animals.
Which brings me to the writing spider we have outside our classroom door. It caught a flying insect (almost like a bee) and wrapped it in web. It did that yesterday. Today, we got to watch the spider eat the bug! Ewww! It dropped what looked like the head of the insect. The spider moved the bug around with its front legs. Now the insect is completely gone. It's so neat to watch. I am very glad the spider decided to stay right at our front door.
This is gymnastics Wednesday! Both girls have a class tonight. They love that and they do so well! Neely is in the 4-5 year old class and towers over everyone. Teagan is in the Tumble I class and has already made some friends. I am so thankful that they are getting the opportunity to have extracurricular activities like this and piano outside of homeschooling. If it weren't for family picking up some of tab, I just don't think we could do it. So much thanks to all involved.
No pictures today, and I hate it! I still can't find my camera charger and I left my phone in my van---that Jason drove to work. =(
