Daddy didn't have to work today, so we had extra motivation. We began with our devotional. The girls know their verse after just two days so Monday, we will begin our next one on "Does God Hear." Daddy even got in on our prayer request this morning, and it felt really good.
I printed the girls out some math fact drills to practice on, some basic facts and some regrouping. They worked on those last because they had a very interesting folder in front of them with colored cardstock cut up on the inside.
Today we made a lapbook/info folder on plants. We talked about the part of the plant as well as what plants need to survive. I found that it was fairly easy to adjust the project for each kid on their level. I helped Libby with hers, Neely did he basic stuff, and Teagan's was a little more in depth with what each part of the plant does. I noticed that it worked for their attention spans too. Neely couldn't have sat through the information part.
Anyway, they turned out great! Neely got to read to all of us before heading out, and by 12:30 we were on our way to the pool!
Pay no attention to Libby's smile. She's having some issues! lol
